Two Experiences. One Purpose. A Celebration of Black Culinary Legacy.
During the 2025 Black History Month, Table Zaire hosted not one—but two powerful culinary gatherings that brought community together around food, culture, and storytelling. From a vibrant Afro Fusion brunch to an elegant multi-course dinner, each experience honoured the richness of Black heritage through flavour and community-building.
The Brunch Experience
Our daytime guests enjoyed a lively and delicious 3-course brunch, featuring a blend of African and Southern-inspired dishes. With Rumba and Soukous rhythms in the background, mimosas flowing, and shared laughter around the table, the brunch embodied joy, good vibes and connection.

The Dinner Experience
In the evening, guests were welcomed into a more intimate, atmospheric setting for a 4-course Afro Fusion tasting menu with crafted drink pairing. Each dish served as a tribute to traditional foodways of Africa and the Black diaspora—reimagined through a modern lens.
